About our O₂-Sensor Kits and Systems

The O₂-Sensor Kits & Systems enable real-time, contactless, non-invasive detection of oxygen levels and consumption inside an organ model.
The heart of the DynamicOrgan® O₂-Sensor Kit is the 2-channel biochip (BC002) with biocompatible oxygen sensor spots from , incorporated in the top and bottom channel of the biochip. The top channel features a single sensor spot for measurement of the general oxygen levels inside the channel. The bottom channel includes two sensor spots, one at the inlet and one at the outlet, enabling monitoring of oxygen consumption.
The oxygen readout is performed using the PyroScience Fireplate including a custom biochip holding frame. The FirePlate excites the oxygen sensitive indicator with its unique REDFLASH technology and detects an oxygen-dependent luminescence signal.
The DynamicOrgan® O₂-Sensor Kit is currently available in one size, containing 10 biochips and the required consumables to start perfusion.
Please note: the DynamicOrgan® O₂-Sensor Kit does not include the PyroScience FirePlate or a pump.
