About our TEER-Sensor Kits and Systems

Move beyond endpoint-based analysis towards real-time, non-invasive readouts integrated inside the biochip with our DynamicOrgan® TEER-Sensor Kits & Systems.

The TEER-Sensor Kits & Systems enable real-time, non-invasive monitoring of barrier integrity in organ-on-chip models. It includes all consumables required to operate the biochip, start perfusion, and measure trans-epithelial/trans-endothelial electrical resistance (TEER) to generate continuous live readouts throughout your experiment.

At the core of the kit is the 2-channel biochip (BC002) with integrated semi-transparent TEER electrodes. The biochip consists of a perfused top and bottom channel, separated by a porous membrane, allowing alternating current to pass between the electrodes and detect tissue resistance.

TEER is directly measured inside the biochip by connecting the tighTEER readout unit via an integrated circuit board. The whole setup fits into an incubator. Recorded TEER data is wirelessly transmitted to a computer, enabling real-time monitoring and visualization of the measurements at user-defined time intervals.

The DynamicOrgan® TEER-Sensor Kit is available in two sizes: S and M – depending on whether you are just getting started or want to scale up your experiment.

Please note: the DynamicOrgan® TEER-Sensor Kit – S/M does not include the tighTEER readout unit or a pump.

If you haven’t worked with our system before, choose the DynamicOrgan® TEER-Sensor System Beginner.

Already have a pump and only need the tighTEER readout unit? The DynamicOrgan® TEER-Sensor System Pro is the right choice.
