Our 2-Channel Kit is built around the 2-channel biochip (BC002), which features a porous membrane dividing the culture chamber into a top and bottom channel. This design allows separate but interacting compartments: such as epithelial cells on one side, endothelial or immune cells on the other — or fully vascularized systems depending on your setup.
Because each channel can be supplied with its own medium and flow rate (or even static conditions), you gain precise control over the cell environment — enabling barrier-function studies, transport assays, immune-cell perfusion, or complex organ-barrier models (e.g. gut, lung, vasculature).
